"WE ARE" Mentorship Program
Working With: Engaging & Assisting, Relationships & Empowerment
The goal of this mentorship program is to partner student-athletes with local schools to provide an opportunity for student-athletes to use their platform to be active and positive role models for area youth beyond the playing fields and courts.

Matching & Communication:
Brynn Molloy from the Griz Marketing & Community Relations team will match student-athletes with schools based on:

The goal of this mentorship program is to partner student-athletes with local schools to provide an opportunity for student-athletes to use their platform to be active and positive role models for area youth beyond the playing fields and courts.
School Information:
- Limited to schools inside Missoula city limits.
- Schools limited to ONE request per school. (Request located below.)
- Request will have the option to list how many student-athletes each school is willing and able to host.
- Does not guarantee student-athlete placement.
- Request will ask how schools intend to utilize the match:
- Match with individual student
- Match with small groups of students
- Match with a class room
- Request will have the option to list how many student-athletes each school is willing and able to host.
- Schools are required to have a plan in place for how time will be used.
- Please plan to make the time mutually beneficial so both the kids and student-athletes gain something valuable from the mentorship
- Schools required to have ONE point of contact for Brynn Molloy & student-athletes
- 2 visits/month (excluding winter, spring and summer breaks)
- Min visit time: 15 minutes (ex: recess)
- Max visit time: 60 minutes (ex: reading with kids or helping with a science project)
- Based on student-athlete availability and schedule
- Once matched with a school/classroom, it will be up to the student-athletes to determine visit times during regular school hours only.
- Student-athletes may NOT skip class to volunteer.
Matching & Communication:
Brynn Molloy from the Griz Marketing & Community Relations team will match student-athletes with schools based on:
- Best fit with student-athlete interests/comfort and school needs
- Availability of student-athletes.
- Once matched, student-athletes will be connected via email with the school point of contact (POC).
- Student-athletes and school POC will only communicate via email.
- It will be a requirement that all communications cc: Brynn Molloy to protect student-athletes time and commitment.
