- Led Grizzlies in scoring and in rebounding as a senior
- UM’s Most Valuable Player as a sophomore, junior and senior
- First round draft pick (fourth overall) by New York Knicks, 1978
- First player to lead NBA in both steals and assists
- Inducted into Grizzly Basketball Hall of Fame 1985
