- Joined teammate Wild Bill Kelly in East-West Shrine game catching the winning touchdown pass and kicking the extra point to win 7-3
- Second in nation in football scoring (75 points) in 1924
- Won 100 and 220 yard dashes in Pacific Coast conference with UM record times of 9.7 and 21.4 seconds, then placed second in both at the NCAA Championship in 1924
- Ran wind-aided 9.4 100 yard dash for Olympic Club in 1928
- Also lettered in basketball at UM
- Coached at Menlo and San Francisco Junior Colleges, athletic director at SFJC
- Officiated East-West Shrine game in 1944
