The Lumberjack men placed the highest of all Big Sky squads with a second place finish in the blue division. NAU finished with 92 points behind Nurani Sheikh's eighth place time of 24:03.1, but were easily outpaced by No. 1 Stanford, which tallied 27 points to win the event. In the white division, Weber State finished fourth while Montana State finished ninth. WSU's Nate Long led the Wildcat charge with a time of 24:38 to place 27th. The Wildcats accrued 187 points, while Colorado won the event with 87 points. The Bobcats were paced by a fourth-place (and conference-best) finish by Lyle Weese. Weese finished the eight-kilometer course in 23:58. When combined with the other two races (blue division and open division) the senior's time ranked ninth among 235 runners. Montana ran in the open division, and finished eighth overall. The Griz were led by Antony Ford's first-place finish (24:29.3).
