Position opening - Associate Athletic Director/SWA

The University of Montana- Missoula, a NCAA Division I program and member of the Big Sky Conference, is seeking an Associate Athletic Director/Senior Woman Administrator to assist the Director in the administration of the Intercollegiate Athletic Program.
The successful candidate will serve as the department's representative to the University's administration, faculty and represent the department in the Athletic Director's absence. The Associate A.D. will also assist the Director in establishing and implementing policies and procedures for the overall operation of the athletic programs.
Other areas of responsibility may include the direct supervision and coordination of Student Athlete Welfare, various sports programs as assigned by the Director and as SWA to the Big Sky Conference and NCAA.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required (Master's or Ph.D preferred). Working knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations; 3-5 years minimum of collegiate athletic administration experience. Budget, personnel and operations experience preferred.
Salary: DOE.
