University of Montana junior Jas Gill has been named the Big Sky Conference Men's Field Athlete of the Week the league office announced on Monday. Gill, an Abbotsford, B.C., native, was honored for his performance at last Friday's UM-MSU Dual at Bozeman, Mont.
Gill, who has won the high jump at the last two BSC Indoor Championships with heights of 7-1 (2003) and 6-10.75 (2004), won the high jump on Friday with a height of 6-10.25 in his first indoor meet of the season.
