A big win in Ogden this past weekend leaves the Griz still undefeated in the Big Sky. The game was full of excitement and big plays. Weber State played very well and should be given a lot of credit for their execution and effort. However, we found a way to win, and now come back to Missoula this week ready to face a very talented Idaho State team.
Idaho State has an experienced offense with nearly every starter returning from a year ago. The Bengals are leading in many statistical categories offensively and are averaging over 400 yards a game in total offense. Without question the defense will have to step up to challenge and contain a very speedy and talented offense.
The Bengals like to spread the field and use their talented wide receivers to make plays down the field. Not to mention their quaterback, who is also a good player. Their run game is also very effective behind an experienced offensive line and speedy running backs.
Idaho State has played well at Washington Griz in the past few years and we fully expect the same kind of performance. We are happy to be home and are looking forward to this Saturday's contest, and know that it will take a superb performance on our part in order to get the job done. Thank you for your continued support and hopefully we will be able to make you proud this weekend.
