Montana hosting Griz Garden City Glam Jam Saturday

The University of Montana Cheer Squad will host the Griz Garden City Glam Jam cheerleading competition Saturday, January 29, at Dahlberg Arena. The annual event brings in over 350 athletes and coaches. The Griz Garden City Glam Jam is in its fourth year and is one of the largest cheer competitions in Montana, with teams traveling from Bozeman, Great Falls, Havre, Helena, Kalispell and Missoula. Athletes from Idaho are also scheduled to compete.
The competition begins at 9 a.m. and includes solos, duos and stunt groups and continues through the afternoon with an all-star competition. The competition is open to the public with a $5 general admission ticket. Admission for senior citizens, military personnel (with ID) and children ages 6-17 is $3, and children 5 and under get in free. Parking and re-entry are also free.
Proceeds from the Garden City Glam Jam benefit the UM Cheer Squad. The Cheer Squad will be performing at the event, along with Bitterroot Gymnastics and Montana's mascot, Monte.
