Jared Amoss named the assistant director of the GSA

Jared Amoss has been selected as the Assistant Director of the Grizzly Scholarship Association, announced Greg Sundberg, the Executive Director of the GSA.
Prior to joining the GSA, he spent 14 years working in Minor League Baseball. He began working with the Missoula Osprey Professional Baseball Club in 1999, and most recently served as the General Manager of Operations for the Osprey, where he was involved in all aspects of running the club.
Amoss is an active member of the community, and has been involved with the Missoula Chapter of the GSA the past three years; YMCA Membership Committee and team leader for YMCA Partners with Youth Campaign; Missoula Downtown Association, Play Ball Missoula; and Habitat for Humanity.
He was named the Missoula Downtown Association's Downtowner of the Year in 2004, Habitat for Humanity PR Committee Member of the Year in 2004, and the Play Ball Missoula Hal Fraser Volunteer of the Year in 2010.
He is a 1999 graduate of Montana, earning a bachelor's of science degree in business administration with an emphasis in finance.
Born in Washington and raised in Montana, he is 1995 graduate of Hamilton High School and a lifetime member of the National Eagle Scout Association.
Amoss recently began working in the GSA office, which is located on UM's campus in the Adams Center.
