11th Annual Montana Wine & Beer Festival was another success

Judging from the crowds of people and the increasing noise level from socializing, the 11th Annual Montana Wine and Beer Festival sponsored by Summit Beverage was another successful evening. Dahlberg Arena located in the Adams Center in no way resembled the basketball court where Montana Grizzly and Lady Grizzly basketball teams compete. With carpet tiles added and bleachers hidden behind draping and a little artful lighting, the normally cavernous space was transformed into a fun entertainment area. Professor of Trombone and Director of Jazz Studies Rob Tapper along with a talented group of jazz artists entertained throughout the event. Summit Beverage and the Grizzly Scholarship Association teamed up to supply a wide range of raffle items including collectible wine and wine related pieces along with Griz memorabilia. Featured artists Tim Joyner, Jodi Monahan and newcomer Randy Zielinski were on hand with several original pieces of artwork along with bronze artist Chip Jones of Bigrock Bronze Works.
The Grizzly Scholarship Association would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who helped make this event possible, especially Summit Beverage which continues to be a generous sponsor of the GSA throughout the year. We especially thank the people who attended this event and who continue to support scholarships for deserving student athletes at the University of Montana through the purchase of tickets to this and other GSA activities throughout the year.
