
Doyon resigns as Montana volleyball coach

Brian Doyon resigned his position as head coach of the Montana volleyball program on Monday. The Grizzlies went 13-41 in two seasons under Doyon, who was hired in January 2015.

Montana went 6-26 in Big Sky Conference matches the last two seasons, finishing 10th in the league in 2015 at 4-12 and tying for 11th this fall with a 2-14 record.

Allison Lawrence, who has been an assistant coach at Montana since 2010 and was one of three finalists for the head coaching position two years ago, has been named the interim head coach.
