Montana volleyball to hold free scrimmage on Saturday

Griz fans have an opportunity to get a sneak peek of the 2018 Montana volleyball team this weekend. The free intrasquad scrimmage will take place on Saturday at 2 p.m. in the West Auxiliary Gym, inside the Adams Center. Montana is expected to play four or five sets, with rotating lineups.

The team is currently completing its second week of fall training camp and is just one week away from opening the 2018 season. Following matches against UC Riverside, Cal State Fullerton and Akron (Aug. 24-25 in California), Montana will return home to host a tournament that features nationally ranked Utah (No. 19) and Iowa State (No. 21), and regional foe Gonzaga (Aug. 31-Sept. 1).

Fans can catch all 12 home matches at a discounted rate by purchasing season tickets, now on sale for just $50. Season tickets can be purchased online, by calling 1-888-MONTANA or by visiting the Adams Center ticket office on campus. The Grizzlies return every starter from 2017, including more than 95 percent of their kills, assists and blocks.
