Each week throughout the summer, GoGriz.com will post Q&As with each of Montana's returning volleyball players. These were originally published throughout the 2018 season in the match program.
Casey Stites is a native of Bozeman, Mont., graduating in December 2017 from Bozeman High School. While she grew up in Bobcat territory, her dream school was always Montana. She played club volleyball for Missoula's Montana Volleyball Academy and has had family attend the University of Montana. Stites, a setter, spent her first season with the Griz as a redshirt.
Do you floss regularly? Nope.
Morning or night person? Night, for sure.
What was the last gift you gave someone? Nut Thins.
If you could be any animal in the zoo, what would you be? A flamingo, because they are my favorite color.
Would you rather be stranded on an island alone or with someone you dislike? With someone I dislike.
What's your biggest fear? Roller coasters and water slides.
If you didn't play volleyball, how would you spend your free time? Going to cosmetology school.
What's your first volleyball memory? Playing in fifth grade with the super big, extra-light balls.
If there was a movie made about your life, who would play you? Chicken Little.
You've been given an elephant. You can keep it, give it away or sell it. What would you do with it? Call him Bruce and have him give me rides around campus.
Would you rather be too hot or too cold? Too cold.
What's your favorite class you've ever taken? Ping pong.
Do you untie your shoes when you take them off? No, I'm too lazy.
