Volleyball, soccer season tickets now on sale

Season tickets are now on sale for the 2019 volleyball and soccer seasons.

A season volleyball pass gets fans reserved seating for all 11 home matches for just $50, a discounted rate by more than 50 percent compared to the single-match price. Fans can purchase a season soccer pass for just $45, which includes admission to the Grizzlies' seven regular-season dates, plus two exhibition contests.

Season tickets can be purchased online, over the phone by calling 1-888-MONTANA or by visiting the Adams Center ticket office on campus. Single-match tickets for both sports will be available for purchase later in the summer.

2019 Montana Volleyball
The 2019 volleyball slate features nine Big Sky matches – opening with rival Montana State on Sept. 24 – in addition to a home tournament featuring CSU Bakersfield and UTEP. In total, five matches will be played during the home tournament (Sept. 13-14), with season-ticket holders receiving admission to the three non-Montana matches, as well.

New this fall, all of Montana's home matches will be played inside Dahlberg Arena. The better fan experience includes chair-back seating plus the arena's state-of-the art video board. The Grizzlies in 2018 had their largest average attendance in 23 years, leading to their most total wins since 2013.

Montana returns starting setter Ashley Watkins, in addition to fellow seniors Missy Huddleston and Janna Grimsrud. The Grizzlies also return starting libero Sarina Moreno, three players who redshirted a season ago and seven incoming freshmen.

2019 Montana Soccer
Coming off of a Big Sky Conference tournament championship last fall, Montana returns its top two scorers, in addition to two-time All-Big Sky Conference honorable mention goalkeeper Claire Howard, who is on pace to set school records for career shutouts and goals-against average. Also earning all-conference recognition a year ago was Kennedy Yost, who scored five goals. The team leader in goals, Alexa Coyle, also returns for her junior season.

Two of Montana's three non-conference home matches are against teams that won at least a dozen games a season ago, including Mountain West co-champion Wyoming. Also on the home slate is Weber State, the defending Big Sky Conference regular-season champions.

Like the volleyball team, who will be playing in a new venue in 2019, the soccer team also received a facility upgrade, with a new playing surface being installed at South Campus Stadium.
