Montana's 329 student-athletes set a pair of academic records with their performance in the classroom during the fall semester.
Â
The Grizzlies had a collective term GPA of 3.23, the highest on record, topping the 3.19 they had for the fall 2018 semester. That helped up their average cumulative GPA to 3.26, also the best on record.

Team highlights:
Â
* The department was led by its tennis programs, with coach Steve Ascher's women's team posting a 3.75 fall GPA, tied for the fifth-highest term GPA ever recorded by a Montana team.

Â
* The soccer and women's basketball programs both had fall GPAs of 3.49.
Â

Â
* The women's basketball team had its second-best semester ever at 3.49. All 12 Lady Griz had a fall GPA of 3.0 or better.
