After its fall season got pushed to the spring, the Montana volleyball team returned to the court on Saturday for its first spring practice. The preseason preparation comes roughly two weeks before the Grizzlies' first match (Jan. 24 at Idaho State). Montana is coming off of back-to-back Big Sky Conference tournament appearances, posting a winning record in the back-half of league play in 2019 in order to qualify for the tournament. The Grizzlies return their starting libero and four sophomores who started at least 14 matches as freshmen in 2019. They also welcome in eight newcomers, including six true freshmen.
