Montana played a two-match series at Portland State, with several individuals having standout performances.
At libero, junior Sarina Moreno recorded 19 digs in both matches, averaging 4.75 digs per set, in addition to two service aces. Montana's middle blockers also had a strong series, with freshman Madi Chuhlantseff averaging 3.50 kills per set, including 17 kills on .452 hitting in Sunday's match. On Monday, she recorded 11 kills and five blocks. Senior middle blocker Peyten Boutwell opened the series with 13 kills on .400 hitting. Montana's trio of pin hitters all had nice performances, with freshman Sophia Meyers recording 17 digs in the opener and 11 kills and nine digs in the second match; sophomore Amethyst Harper totaled 18 kills and 27 digs, in addition to seven blocks and four service aces; sophomore Elsa Godwin recorded 11 kills, 27 digs and three service aces. Setting up the offense was freshman Carly Anderson, who tallied 81 assists (10.13 per set), in addition to 18 digs, five kills and two blocks. She recorded her first career double-double with 44 assists and 10 digs on Sunday.
