Big Sky portion of volleyball schedule announced

FARMINGTON, Utah – The Big Sky Conference office recently announced its 2021 Big Sky volleyball schedule, which will be played from September through November.
Just six short months after crowning the 2020 Big Sky champion during the 2021 Spring volleyball season, Big Sky teams will be back on the court to compete for another conference title.
The 2021 season will feature a 16-match format played over eight weeks. As it has traditionally done, matches will primarily be played on Thursdays and Saturdays. The conference portion of the schedule will get underway in September, with Montana and Montana State kicking off the slate with the annual Brawl of the Wild match in Missoula.
The Big Sky Volleyball Championship will also see a change this season, and a move off Thanksgiving weekend. Instead of being played on the last weekend in November, the tournament will take place Nov. 18-20, with the host being the 2021 regular-season champion. The tournament champion will receive the league's auto-bid to the NCAA tournament.
Montana's four-week non-conference schedule will be announced later this summer, as will match start times and ticket information.
