The Big Give coming in March

Grizzly Athletics and the Grizzly Scholarship Association (GSA) will once again take part in the "THE BIG GIVE," the University of Montana's 24 hours of giving, managed by the UM Foundation.

Join Grizzly Athletics and the GSA on March 9 at noon (MT) to make an impact on more than 330 student-athletes. When we give, we change lives. We change the world. We rise up together.

Last year, Grizzly Athletics and the GSA led the way at UM with more than $124,000 raised from more than 380 donations. Like last year, all gifts made to Grizzly Athletics and the GSA will directly impact our student-athletes in the classroom and in competition.

Our department strives to provide opportunities for our student-athletes to develop academically, athletically and in the community. Without the support of you, Griz Nation, alumni, parents, and fans, none of this would be possible.

There are many areas you can support Grizzly Athletics during The Big Give. First, you can support the facility projects that are underway: The Grizzly Indoor Practice Facility and the Lady Griz Locker Room projects.

Second, you can make a gift to the Grizzly Scholarship Association. A gift to the GSA directly impacts more than 330 student-athletes and provides vital scholarship dollars.

Third, you can support your favorite teams. Sport-specific donations go directly to the coach's discretionary fund. These funds can be used by the coach where and when they are most needed, areas such as, scholarships, summer school, nutrition and recruiting.

Finally, if you are not able to make a gift, but want to show your support, spread the word about how others can participate in this year's BIG GIVE by using #UMBigGive and #GoGriz.
