All volleyball tickets now on sale

With volleyball season now less than a month away, Griz fans have the opportunity to purchase tickets to any of Montana's 11 home matches. Single-match tickets and season tickets are now on sale. Montana will host 11 opponents this fall, plus three non-Griz matches during the season-opening tournament. In addition to getting the best reserved seats, season-ticket-holders also save nearly 35 percent off the standard ticket price.

The 2022 season opens with a home tournament in Missoula (Aug. 26-27), bringing in an exciting round-robin lineup that features former Big Sky foe North Dakota, UC Davis and UT Arlington.

Montana's home Big Sky opener will come on Saturday, Sept. 24, vs. Idaho, part of the University's Homecoming festivities. The Grizzlies will then have a two-week stretch where they are at home, hosting Northern Arizona (Oct. 13), Northern Colorado (Oct. 15), Weber State (Oct. 20) and Idaho State (Oct. 22). The trio of NAU, UNC and Weber State have consistently been the league's top teams over the past several years, claiming every Big Sky title since 2018. Montana's match vs. Idaho State will be an afternoon tilt, perfect for families and children of all ages.

The Grizzlies will host Portland State (Nov. 3) and Sacramento State (Nov. 5, also a day match) before closing their home slate with the annual Griz-Cat rivalry against Montana State, where the two teams will battle for the Main Line Trophy, on Friday, Nov. 11.

The Grizzlies won 11 matches in 2021 – their most since 2013 and more than the past two seasons combined – and qualified for the Big Sky Conference tournament for the third time in four seasons. They bring back five of their seven starters from 2021, including all-conference outside hitter Paige Clark.
