Big Sky Basketball Championships Fan Guide

The Montana men's and women's basketball teams head to Boise this weekend to participate in the Big Sky Basketball Championships.
All Montana fans attending the event are invited to the Taphouse Pub & Eatery in Boise for the Griz on Tap event Sunday, March 5. The event, hosted by the UM Alumni Association, will run from 5-7 p.m. and feature Monte, dance team members, athletic staff and more.
Taphouse Pub & Eatery will also serve as the official fan zone for Montana.
The women begin their postseason play on Monday afternoon. The fifth-seeded Lady Griz will take on fourth-seeded Eastern Washington at noon inside Idaho Central Arena. Montana finished the season with a big win against Idaho to head to the tournament with some momentum.
The men will follow that up later in the night, taking on Idaho State at 5:30 p.m. Montana ended the season winning seven of the last eight games to move up to No. 4 in the conference standings. They swept the season series against the Bengals.
The semifinals for both the men and women will be played on Tuesday with the championships set for Wednesday night. All tournament games can be streamed on ESPN+. Montana's quarterfinal matchups will also air locally on The CW. The championship games will be aired on the ESPN family of networks.
