2017-18 (Freshman): Played in 30 games for the Griz, averaging 9.6 minutes per contest... Scored 106 points (3.5 per game) while shooting a team-best .609 from the floor (47-of-78)... Averaged 2.3 rebounds per game, with nearly half of his boards (31 of 68) coming on the offensive glass... Ranked sixth on the team with 12 blocked shots... Made his collegiate debut Nov. 10 vs. Whitworth, scoring four points... After averaging 7.7 minutes per game over the first three contests due to foul trouble, had a breakout week at the Legends Classic Malibu Region (Nov. 20-21), averaging 23.0 minutes over two games and totaling 21 points on 10-of-15 shooting... Scored a season-high 17 points vs. North Dakota (Jan. 4)... In the win, shot a perfect 8-for-8 from the floor, including four highlight-reel dunks... Also added three steals, three blocked shots and two assists... Scored 13 points and tallied a career-most seven rebounds in a win over Montana State (Feb. 24).

High School: Is a 2017 graduate of Glenda Dawson High School, south of Houston… Named the 2016-17 Texas District 22-6A MVP… Helped the Eagles to a 27-8 mark during his senior season, including 11-1 in league play… Rated as the 17^th-best prep prospect in the state of Texas.

Personal: Born in Pearland, Texas… Mother is Juny Simpson... Has an older sister, Lexi, and a younger sister, Aniyah... First player from Texas to ever play for Montana... Was majoring in communication studies... Transferred to Stephen F. Austin following the 2017-18 season.
