Montana football returns to statewide television in 2026 through the continued partnership between Grizzly Athletics, the Big Sky Conference, the E.W. Scripps Company and the Montana Television Network.

Scripps Sports will broadcast 10 of Montana's 12 games statewide this season, including the annual Brawl of the Wild between Montana and Montana State. Eight of those games will also air on select Scripps stations across the Rocky Mountain West. The two exceptions are Montana's games at Oregon State, airing on the USA Sports Network, and the Nov. 14 home game against Idaho State, airing on ESPN Networks to millions of fans around the country.

Montana's games air on different Scripps stations depending on market. The channel guide below shows where to find each game in your area. The Montana Television Network recently launched The Spot, a new independent television network that serves as the secondary home of Big Sky Conference games and carries select UM games in specific markets.

The Spot is available free over the air to viewers with antennas and requires no subscription. It is also available on Spectrum Cable, TCT West, Montana Opticom, Access Montana, DIRECTV, the DIRECTV streaming platform and Tablo TV.
