It's time to Read with the Griz!
INDIVIDUAL PARTICIPATION GUIDELINES:
Participants must be in grades K-8. High school students are not eligible to participate.
Participants may select and read any books. Parents/teachers may read books to students who may still be learning to read.
Write the title of each book you read next to a letter in the word MONTANA on the scorecard. Once you have read 7 books you will earn a prize from the Griz!

CLASSROOM & TEACHER PARTICIPATION GUIDELINES:
Teachers may submit one scorecard (online form) per month documenting and totaling all books read in his/her classroom between the 1st and last day of each month. The total number may include books read by individual students, if the teacher signs off on them or sees the scorecard they submit as well as books read as a classroom. Monthly submissions are due by the 5th of the following month in order to be considered each month.
The classroom with the most books read each month will win a visit from a Griz Student-Athlete to read with them!
Teachers who submit a classroom score sheet will receive a copy of the Griz Monte Mystery for their classroom after the first submission. (Available while supplies last).
We are unable to send individual prizes to each child in the classroom. Individuals MUST submit their own scorecards in person to redeem a prize of their choosing.
New in 2019, teachers may collect individual scorecards on behalf of the students and bring them to the Adams Center to collect prizes. Prizes will be at the discretion of the marketing team and available inventory if being distributed this way.
At the end of March 2020, the classroom with the most books read throughout the entire year will win a visit from Monte AND Griz Student-Athletes for a reading party!
HOW TO REDEEM YOUR SCORECARD FOR A PRIZE:
Individuals may submit one scorecard per month.
Scorecard must be completed & submitted in person at Grizzly Athletics in the Adams Center Rm 137 (open 8-5, M-F). No emails or faxes will be accepted for individual prizes.
**New as of January 2019: readers located outside of Missoula may MAIL a completed scorecard for a prize. Prize selection will be determined based on what can be mailed.

Free ticket to a Griz Basketball game
Free ticket to a Lady Griz

*Additional prizes may be added throughout the year.*
10 Grand Prize Winners will be randomly selected to win autographed basketballs and will be recognized at a basketball game in February or March. Date TBD.
