    JUNIOR GAME DAY STAFF POSITIONS:
- MARKETING ASSISTANT: Do you like watching the fun contests that the Griz have on the court during timeouts and at halftime? Marketing Assistants are in charge of all promotions, from selecting contestants to running the contests. Junior Marketing Assistants will assist the marketing team with 1 or 2 promotions on the court throughout the game.
- VOICE OF THE LADY GRIZ: Do you like watching sports on TV or listening on the radio, and listening to the announcers talk about the game and the players? Tom and Dick our radio announcers talk about all things Lady Griz for fans who can’t be in the arena on the day of the game. The junior voice of the Lady Griz will sit with our radio announcers pre-game and have the opportunity to announce part of the pre-game ritual.
- TICKET TAKER: Are you a friendly person who likes saying hi to people? Ticket takers are some of the most important people on our staff- they are the first people that fans see when they come to our games! Our Junior Ticket Taker will have the opportunity to welcome Lady Griz fans and scan their tickets with our staff! During the game you will help sell split the pot for Grizzly Athletics.Â
- GAME DAY MUSIC COORDINATOR: Do you love listening to music? Do you keep up to date with current songs? Our staff plays all of the music that you hear at our games that isn't played by the band! Our Honorary Game Day Music Coordinator will help our marketing team pick songs to play during the game!
- PUBLIC ADDRESS ANNOUNCER: Do you have loud voice and enjoy speaking in front of people? Our public-address announcer is the voice you hear over the speakers when you attend a game. They announce our starting lineups, announce when players score baskets, and announce our promotions. Our Junior Announcer will have the opportunity to announce starting lineups on game day!Â
- LADY GRIZ VIDEOGRAPHER & REPORTER: Do you love taking pictures or making videos? All of our videos for social media are made in house by our videographer. Our Junior Videographer will be a part of the action on game day filming some of the players, fans and even reporting the experience. Help make our entertainment the best it can be for fans who are not in attendance!Â
- LADY GRIZ SPORTS INFORMATION DIRECTOR: Do you like to follow the Lady Griz in the news or on gogriz.com? Our sports information directors are responsible for managing and writing/reporting information about our team. Our Junior Sports Information Director will have the opportunity to assist with stats, help run stats to coaches and media, and learn a fun video tool that is used for Twitter.Â
- SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER: Do you love using social media, like Snapchat and Instagram? Our social media manager is responsible for posting pictures and updates about our basketball team! Our Junior Social Media Manager will have the chance to 'take over' some of our social media channels on game day!
- BAND DIRECTOR: Do you play an instrument, or like music? Our UM Band Director is in charge of the pep and marching band. They are an important part of our game day atmosphere because they bring the fun! Our Junior Band Director will have the opportunity to direct the band pre-game!
- SPIRIT SQUAD MEMBER: Do you participate in dance or cheerleading? Do you like watching the spirit squad on game day? Our Junior Spirit Squad Member will get to be with and participate in our spirit squad pre-game routine.
- You will be asked to attend a practice on 1/17 to learn the Fight Song dance with the team for starting lineups
- LADY GRIZ EQUIPMENT MANAGER: Do you love the Lady Griz uniforms? Do you know how much work goes into getting them prepped for games? Be a part of the action and help distribute game day attire to the Lady Griz players!
- Players start to get their gear about 2 hours prior to tip. Will want to be here and ready for them.Â
- LADY GRIZ TRAINER: Do you love helping others? If so, this job is for you. Our Junior Lady Griz Trainer will help get the players ready for game day!Â
- Will want to arrive at least 2 hours early to get the most out of the opportunity.Â
