Important Dates: Friday, April 24th and Saturday, April 25th
Location: West Auxiliary Gym, Adams Center - University of Montana
Please note that all attendees must prepare to stay in Missoula through Saturday night. The final team roster will be announced on Saturday evening, followed immediately by a mandatory team meeting for all members. Do not book travel home until Sunday morning.

2026-2027 Head Cheer Coach Position: Now Open!
We are currently looking for a head coach for the 2026-27 season! If you think you've got what it takes to lead this team to new heights and want to be a part of one of the best atmospheres in all of college athletics, apply today! Send your cover letter and resume (with a minimum of 3 references). This position will remain open until Friday, May 15th.
This position will provide coaching, supervision and leadership to all cheer team student-athletes. The duties include, but are not limited to: running practices, preparation for games and community events, teaching collegiate level stunts/pyramids/basket tosses, knowledge of gymnastics/tumblings skills and the ability to teach them, budget management, travel responsibilities, and overall team organization and communication. This position will provide all decision making for the team, in accordance with Grizzly Athletic department rules and policies, while working closely with the Spirit Squad Administrator and marketing department.
Requirements: collegiate level cheerleading experience (2 years minimum), elite level stunting/pyramid/basket toss experience, gymnastics/tumbling coaching experience (2-3 years minimum) and knowledge to insure proper technical skill training is provided to athletes. Coaching and supervision experience is necessary (co-ed preferred) along with budget management.
