Quoting Head Coach Wayne Tinkle: "He is a tough-nosed kid. He can shoot the ball and make plays off the dribble. We've got to get him a little bit better defensively in our system. We feel like he and Jordan (Woods) both will kind of be the replacements for Michael Taylor and Ryan Staudacher, and maybe add a little bit. He's coming in a little later, so it's probably going to take him a little more time. By the second half of the season we hope he is paying dividends. The neat thing is that we have him for three years."

Junior College: He was an all-conference selection at Bakersfield College, averaging 15 points, 5 rebounds, 2.0 steals, and 1.5 assists a game...his JC team was 26-6 last season and coached by Rich Hughes.

High School: He attended Salpointe Catholic High School in Tucson, where he was a four-year letterman in basketball...a two-time team captain...named all-state and conference MVP as a senior...a two-time all-league pick for coach Shawn Loomer...averaged 23 points a game as a senior.

Personal: He is a business major. Birth date: July 15, 1989. His parents are Ron and Liz Adams of Tucson.
