The 2026-27 season will be Mikey Eggleton’s first with the Montana basketball program. He was hired by head coach Travis DeCuire in June 2026 following eight years with Cal State East Bay.
Eggleton helped lead Cal State East Bay to an undefeated regular season in 2025-26. The Pioneers reached the Elite 8 at the D-II level and ended the year ranked No. 2 in the NABC poll.
In his time at East Bay, the team recorded three 20-win seasons, capped off by a 33-1 year in 2025-26.
He got his start with the Pioneers fresh out of college, joining as an assistant coach prior to the 2018-19 season.
Eggleton graduated from Menlo College, where he competed for four years as a member of the Oaks. He played in 105 career games and was named the 2015-16 CalPac Freshman of the Year.
He attended high school at College Park HS in Pleasant Hill, California.
