2022-23 (Junior): Played in two games during his junior season, including an appearance in the Big Sky quarterfinal win over Idaho State… did not record any counting stats.
2021-22 (Sophomore): Played in two games during his first season at Montana, totaling 12 rebounds, seven points, five assists and a blocked shot... Made his Griz debut vs. Yellowstone Christian (Dec. 10), making both shot attempts and scoring five points in 6 minutes of action... Saw significant playing time against SAGU AIC (Dec. 13), leading the Grizzlies with 11 rebounds, in addition to five assists, two points scored and a blocked shot across 20 minutes on the floor.
2019-20 (Bellevue Community College): Played one season at Bellevue Community College, a Northwest Athletic Conference school in Washington… Played in 26 games for the Bulldogs, averaging 27.4 minutes per contest… Averaged 6.0 points, 6.2 rebounds and 2.2 assists per game… Was in double figures for scoring five times and rebounding on four occasions… Had a career game at Penninsula, scoring a career-best 16 points while also pulling down 10 rebounds for his first double-double… Scored 14 points vs. Chemeketa, shooting 6-of-6 from the floor in the process… Did not play basketball during the 2020-21 season.
High School: Is a 2018 graduate of Glacier Peak High School in Snohomish, Washington… During his senior season, Glacier Peak went 21-4 overall and 13-1 in districts, advancing to the Washington Class 4A state tournament… Led Glacier Peak for scoring as a senior and was in double figures for scoring in seven of eight games during a January stretch in which he averaged 12.6 points per contest… Scored 25 points in a game vs. Kamiak… Played sparingly as a junior in 2017 as the Grizzlies won the Wesco 4A title and advanced to the state tournament after working his way back from a head injury… In May 2016, was undercut while going up for a dunk… The fall caused blood clots in two separate parts of his skull and required multiple surgeries and one-quarter of his skull to be removed and reattached three months later… Was told he may not live and was advised to not play basketball again, but was back on the court within months to being his junior season.
Personal: Born and raised in Snohomish, Washington... Parents are Holli and Paul Lawrence... His late father played basketball at Seattle University... Has two older sisters, Ashlee and Dominique... Is studying journalism.
