- Signed as a free agent with the Cincinnati Bengals in 1990. Played nine years in the NFL – three with the Bengals, two with the Denver Broncos and four with the San Francisco 49ers
- Was a First-Team All-Big Sky Conference selection for the Grizzlies in 1988 and 1989. Was voted Montana’s Paul Westkamp Award winner in 1989, given annually to UM’s “Outstanding Offensive Lineman.” Was a four-year starter at UM on the offensive line and held the school record at the time for most consecutive regular-season starts at 43
- Was named an Honorable mention All-American by the Associated Press as a junior in 1988. Also, was a first-Team All-American pick as a senior in 1989
- Was selected for the King All-America Classic Bowl in 1989
- Was a four-time All-Big Sky Academic selection
- Was a two-year letterman in track, placing third in the Big sky conference meet in the discus in 1988
