Dlouhy honored by Big Sky Conference

The Big Sky Conference has selected its Players of the Week for games played on Saturday, Oct. 28. Northern Arizona running back Alex Henderson is the Offensive Player of the Week. Sacramento State linebacker Cyrus Mulitalo and Montana defensive end Dustin Dlouhy are the Co-Defensive Players of the Week. Northern Arizona kicker Robbie Dehaze is the Special Teams Player of the Week.
Henderson, a 5-foot-10, 195-pound redshirt freshman from Calabasas, Calif., rushed for a career-high 265 yards on 23 carries and scored two touchdowns in Northern Arizona??s 44-36 victory over Eastern Washington. Henderson averaged 11.5 yards per carry. He scored on a 68-yard run with 13:46 to play in the first quarter to give the Lumberjacks a 7-0 lead. He also scored on a 30-yard run with 3:09 to play in the third quarter to give the Lumberjacks a 34-22 lead. He also had non-scoring runs of 39, 31 and 23 yards. This is Henderson??s first Player of the Week.
Mulitalo, a 6-1, 245-pound sophomore from San Lorenzo, Calif., tallied a career-high 21 tackles in Sacramento State??s 14-9 victory over Northern Colorado. He was credited with eight solo tackles and 13 assisted tackles. He had one tackle for loss and a pass breakup. The 21 tackles is one shy of the Hornet school record set by All-American Ryland Wickman in 1997. Mulitalo is just the second player in school history to record a 20-tackle game. Mulitalo has 93 tackles this season, tops in the Big Sky. This is his second Player of the Week honor this season.
Dlouhy, a 6-2, 248-pound senior from Idaho Falls, Idaho, tallied five tackles, had two sacks, 2.5 tackles for loss, and forced a fumble in Montana??s 23-10 win over Idaho State. Dlouhy played a key role for a Montana defense that held Idaho State to 92 yards of total offense. The Bengals entered the game as the top-ranked offense in the Big Sky, and ranked eighth in I-AA at 404.6 yards per game. Dlouhy forced a fumble in the second quarter that was recovered by the Grizzlies at the Idaho State 20-yard line. Three plays later, UM took the lead for good at 13-7 on a 7-yard Reggie Bradshaw TD run. On the next drive, Dlouhy sacked Matt Gutierrez on third down. UM took over following the punt and made a 41-yard field goal. Montana??s defense held Idaho State to seven first downs, 46 rushing yards and just nine complete passes. ISU averaged 1.8 yards per offensive play. This is Dlouhy??s first Player of the Week honor.

The 44-yarder at the end of the first quarter gave NAU a 17-3 lead. The 47-yarder in the fourth quarter put NAU up 44-22. Dehaze scored 14 points in the game. This is Dehaze??s first Player of the Week honor.
