Fullerton earns honor from Big Sky Conference

MISSOULA, Mont. ?C Senior defender Kelly Fullerton was named Co-Defensive Player of the Week for the week of Aug. 21-27, by the Big Sky Conference Tuesday, Aug. 29.
The West Linn, Ore., native helped anchor a defense that allowed one goal in two games as the Grizzlies finished the weekend 1-1 and was named tournament champions. She was also named Tournament MVP for her performance.
"It is a well deserved acknowledgement for the weekend. She is a strong defender and organizer. She is also a great leader," said head coach Neil Sedgwick.
Fullerton has started 56 of 58 games in her career and has scored one goal and four assists.
