Griz fall to Gonzaga, 4-3

The University of Montana men's tennis team dropped its second match of the season as it dropped it??s first dual match of the season, 4-3, to Gonzaga University, Saturday, Feb. 3, in Cheney, Wash.
The Grizzlies won two of the doubles matches against Bulldogs. At the No. 1 doubles, sophomore Colin Dektar and freshman Raydner Ramos defeated freshman Zach Radetzky and senior Brett Womack, 8-6.
Montana also picked up a win at No. 3 doubles, as senior Brady Tommerup and sophomore Tim Neidhardt defeated senior Bryce Cooper and freshman Roman Dojcak, 8-5.
At No. 2 doubles, sophomore Felipe Raw and freshman Mikolaj Borkowski lost to junior Charles Adams and senior Marco Antonio Pineda, 9-8 (7-3).
In singles play, UM picked up wins at the No. 2 position as Raw defeated Womack, 7-6 (10-8), 7-6 (8-6), and at the No. 4 position as Burkowski downed junior Cooper Fratt.
Dektar fell at No. 1 singles to Cooper, 6-4, 6-1, and Raydner also fell at No. 3 singles, 7-6 (7-5), 6-4. Neidhardt lost Pineda at No. 5 singles, 6-3, 7-5, and Tommerup was downed by Adams at the No. 6 position, 6-4, 6-4.
