The trail of the Grizzlies began at Washington-Grizzly Stadium Tuesday afternoon with the Grizzly Marching Band blasting the fight song. Monte, on a fire engine, led the way through downtown with hundreds of fans braving the frigid temperatures and biting wind to send their team off.
The parade made its way to the Missoula airport where a chartered plane was waiting for the team.
2:45 PM MST
The team plane took off from Missoula International Airport and left the cold behind.
8:00 PM EST
The team touched down in Chattanooga during a downpour. Rain accompanied the team on the walk from the plane to the buses.

The first stop in Tennessee was the Bessie Smith Hall where an old fashioned southern barbeque awaited the team. Ribs, chicken and pulled pork left the team full for the ride to the hotel.
11:00 PM EST
The team checked into the Chattanooga Marriott and relaxed and prepared for Wednesday???s activities.
