University of Montana graduate student Baily Cox of Wilbur, Wash., was named to the 12-member ESPN The Magazine Women's Cross Country/Track & Field Academic All-District VII Team the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) announced Thursday. With her district-level first-team selection, Cox now advances to the national ballot for ESPN The Magazine Academic All-America consideration.
Cox, who has a 4.00 GPA as a physical therapy graduate student after finishing her undergraduate biology degree with a 3.87 GPA, became Montana's 46th CoSIDA Academic All-American last June (and first since Chris Tobiason in 2004) when she made the national third team.
