Season-ticket sales surpass 19,000

University of Montana Director of Athletics Jim O???Day announced Friday that more than 19,000 season tickets have now been sold for the 2009 Grizzly football season. Montana opens its six-game home schedule on Saturday, Sept. 5, against Western State.
Only a limited number of season-ticket seats remain for sale. All remaining packages are located in either the GSA Silver seating section of the new Washington-Grizzly Stadium eastside expansion or in the Canyon Club.
In addition to the Mountaineers, Montana will host Portland State on Sept. 19, Cal Poly for Homecoming on Oct. 10, Eastern Washington on Oct. 17, Weber State on Oct. 31 and Northern Colorado on Nov. 14.
