Great Griz Encounter TONIGHT

The 20th annual "Great Griz Encounter," a meet-and-greet of the University of Montana's 2015 football team is set to take place tonight (Thursday, August 20), in downtown Missoula's Caras Park.
The Great Griz Encounter is held in conjunction with the Missoula Downtown Association's weekly "Downtown Tonight" function. The fun begins at 5:30 p.m. with live music by Gladys Friday from Polson.
The Grizzlies' 2015 All-American and Honors Candidates, and Griz Head Coach Bob Stitt will be introduced at 6:30 p.m. After that, all of the Griz players will sign posters until around 8:30 p.m.
Due to the large amount of fans wishing to get autographs, there is a two-item limit.
Licensed vendors will also be on hand selling Grizzly merchandise and apparel, including the official T-shirt for the "Montana Granite" game on Sept. 5, when Montana plays Cal Poly.
This year's event is once again sponsored by the Providence St. Patrick Hospital.
