Griz auction and golf outing underway this week

As fall football camp approaches, the Montana coaching staff is set to enjoy one last summer day on the links and a social event with supporters before the business end of the year gets underway.

The the annual Gene Brosovich Golf Invitational and Celebrity Gala gets underway on Thursday, July 28, and Friday, July 29, offering a chance for fans to meet the coaches and bid on exclusive Griz auction items.

The event begins with the Celebrity Gala and auction on Thursday at 6 pm at the Holiday Inn Downtown with a social hour followed by a silent auction. Dinner follows at 7 with a live auction starting at 7:15.
Â
The golf tournament begins Friday at 7 a.m. at Canyon River Golf Club with check-in and continental breakfast. Play begins at 8:15 a.m. with a shotgun start.

There is stills pace for complete teams of four to enter the scramble.

All event proceeds directly benefit the Grizzly football program.
