Soccer program to host kickoff dinner and auction

The Montana soccer program will hold a preseason kickoff dinner and auction in August in the lead-up to the Grizzlies' regular-season opener at Boise State.

The event will be held on Sunday, Aug. 13, starting at 5 p.m. at the Doubletree in Missoula. Montana opens its season five days later on the road against the Broncos.
Â
Fans will have an opportunity to meet and mingle with the players on coach Mark Plakorus's 2017 team and get a preview of the season ahead.
Â
In his first six seasons at Montana, Plakorus has led his team to three Big Sky Conference championships and one NCAA tournament.
Â
There will be a dinner, plus live and silent auction items up for bid, with all proceeds going to support the soccer program.
