Broadcast Notes:
Â
- The Big Sky Conference owns and manages all broadcast rights for its member institutions. As UM/UNI is a nonconference game it will not be available to watch on the Big Sky's OTT partner, PlutoTV or WatchBigSky.com.
- The Griz will have four games this year broadcast on the Big Sky's premier broadcast partner, ROOT Sports. Those games are against: Sacramento State, Southern Utah, Idaho, and Montana State. It's important to know there are no standard web streams available for a ROOT broadcast. But…
- In 2018, All ROOT Sports broadcasts will also be carried on DirecTV's Audience Network, available to all DirecTV subscribers. The Audience Network is also part of DirecTV's streaming service, DirecTV Now (available in limited areas, and compatible equipment necessary).
- Montana's Big Sky games against Cal Poly, Portland State, North Dakota and UC Davis will be shown on ABC/Fox Montana or SWX, and will be available to watch for free on PlutoTV and at WatchBigSky.com.
- The Sept. 29 game at Cal Poly will also be shown nationwide on the Eleven Sports Network, available on DirecTV on channel 623.
- The Oct. 13 game at North Dakota will be broadcast on Midco Sports network in the Midwest. FOX Montana will simulcast the game to fans statewide.
- Broadcast rights for the Sept. 15 game at Western Illinois are controlled by WIU and the Missouri Valley Conferences' partnership with ESPN. That game will be available to watch exclusively on ESPN+, a subscription streaming service offered on OTT devices.
