Griz Spring Game set for April 13

The Montana Grizzlies Spring Game returns to Kalispell for the first time since 2006 on April 13, giving Griz fans in the Flathead Valley the chance to see the team in action ahead of the 2019 season.

The annual scrimmage is hosted by the Flathead Valley Chapter of the Grizzly Scholarship Association and is presented by Fun Beverage and the Bellamah Vein Center, which is set to open a new location in Kalispell on April 11.

Griz fans can also get game-ready with a GSA tailgate party hosted at The Korner Shop, located a block away from Legends Field at 1212 South Main Street in Kalispell, beginning at 11 a.m.

Tickets to the game cost $10, with kids 10-and-under receiving free entry with an adult. Proceeds from the Spring Game go directly to the GSA in its mission to provide scholarships to student-athletes.

All First Interstate Bank branches in the Flathead Valley
First Interstate Bank in Polson
Freedom Bank in Columbia Falls
Grizzly Scholarship Association office in Missoula

The GSA Spring Game will once again be televised across the state on SWX Montana.

Last year the Spring Game in Missoula drew over 6,000 fans to see the Grizzlies ahead of the first season under head coach Bobby Hauck. With a listed capacity of roughly 3,000, the 2019 Spring Game is expected to be a sellout.

Following the game, the Griz will be on hand to meet fans and sign autographs.
