Six Griz games to be broadcast on ROOT Sports in 2019

The Montana Grizzlies will have a total of six football games broadcast nationwide on ROOT Sports in the 2019 season, the Big Sky Conference announced Friday.

Montana's first game on ROOT Sports will be on Sept. 28 when the Grizzlies travel to California to take on FCS quarterfinalist UC Davis. The Griz will appear on ROOT Sports once again the following week when Idaho State visits Missoula on Oct. 5.

Montana's next game on ROOT will be on Oct. 26 when the FCS runner-up Eastern Washington Eagles come to Washington-Grizzly Stadium.

UM will then have back-to-back home games broadcast on ROOT on Nov. 9 and 16 when Idaho and Weber State come to Missoula. The 2019 schedule will be rounded out with the annual "Brawl of the Wild" against Montana State on Nov. 23 in Bozeman.

This year marks the eighth year of a partnership between ROOT Sports and the Big Sky Conference. All 10 Big Sky Conference football games will be produced and televised in high-definition, and available for fans to watch on ROOT Sports and select games will be available on AT&T SportsNet.
