Montana Athletics recently joined Athlete Network in an effort to offer new, interactive technology to benefit both current and former Grizzly student-athletes.
Â
The partnership will provide an engagement platform to organize, promote and track the programs and services offered to all those who have worn a Griz uniform.
Â
Athlete Network was founded with the goal of creating school-specific online communities that engage current and former student-athletes of those institutions.
Â
"Our top priority is our student-athletes. Any opportunity we have to provide them with tools to be successful, we want to do that," said Dan Ingram, Assistant Athletic Director for Development.
Â
"Our partnership with Athlete Network opens many opportunities for both current and former student-athletes through mentorship, on-campus resources, employment opportunities and a deeper connection to the University of Montana."
Â
The service is designed to support current student-athletes as they navigate career opportunities and prepare for life after graduation. It also provides a platform for former student-athletes to stay connected to their alma mater.
Â
"We are excited about our partnership with Athlete Network. It is important that we stay connected with our student-athletes, both those who are currently on campus and those who have graduated," said Athletic Director Kent Haslam.
Â
"The tools offered through this new partnership will certainly help us in that endeavor."
Â
Current and former Montana student-athletes, as well as businesses interested in hiring Griz student-athletes, can create an account on the site's homepage.
