Volleyball Q&A: Elsa Godwin

Elsa Godwin is a Missoula native, graduating from Sentinel High School in May 2018. Godwin, the 2016 Montana Gatorade Player of the Year, was a three-time all-state honoree and helped lead the Spartans to back-to-back state championships. She redshirted during her first season at Montana, while being named to the University of Montana Dean's List, including a 4.0 grade-point average in her first semester.

If you could spend an entire day doing whatever you wanted, but what you do? I would be on a beach in Bora Bora.
What's the first thing you do when you wake up in the morning? I usually check my phone or hit the snooze button.
Do you floss regularly? NOPE!
Morning or night person? Definitely night person.Â
What do you think about when you're alone in your car? I don't really think, I just jam out to music!
What was the last gift you gave someone? I gave my friend a Montana necklace.
If you could be any animal in the zoo, what would you be? Panda.
Would you rather be stranded on an island alone or with someone you dislike? Someone I dislike.
What's your biggest fear? Lizards.
If you didn't play volleyball, how would you spend your free time? I would probably spend most of my free time traveling and being outdoors.
If there was a movie about your life, which actress would play you? Idina Menzel. She plays Elsa in the movie Frozen.
You've been given an elephant. You can keep it, give it away or sell it. What would you do with it? I wouldn't accept the elephant... the dorms don't allow pets.
Would you rather be too hot or too cold? Too hot.
How would you describe Montana Volleyball in 3 words? Fun, memorable, hardworking.
What's a popular opinion you disagree with? Toilet paper should always go over, not under.
If you were to get rid of one state, which would you choose? Louisiana. It's the weirdest-shaped state!
Do you untie your shoes when you take them off? Yes, or else you have to untie them and tie them again after you put them on.
