Volleyball Q&A: Sarina Moreno
6/3/2019 12:00:00 PM | Volleyball
Each week throughout the summer, GoGriz.com will post Q&As with each of Montana's returning volleyball players. These were originally published throughout the 2018 season in the match program.
As a true freshman, Sarina Moreno started Montana's final 28 matches at libero, averaging 4.25 digs per set. Her 429 total digs rank 11th in school history, and her 4.50 digs-per-set average in Big Sky Conference play ranked seventh in 2018. She also ranked third on the team with 18 service aces.
A native of Missoula, Moreno graduated in 2018 from Sentinel High School, where she was a three-time all-state honoree and helped the Spartans to three consecutive league titles and back-to-back state championships.Â
If you could spend an entire day doing whatever you wanted, but what you do? Lay on a beach in New Zealand.
What's the first thing you do when you wake up in the morning? Press snooze for 5 more minutes.
Do you floss regularly? NO.
