Registration is open for Homecoming Hustle

Registration for one of the university's most popular Homecoming events is open. Now in its 12th year, the annual Homecoming Hustle 5K will take place on Saturday morning, Oct. 5, and will precede the city's parade downtown.

The course takes runners and walkers along the parade route and through UM's campus, with a loop inside Washington-Grizzly Stadium before concluding in the tailgate area. It will begin at the corner of Higgins and Broadway, promptly at 9:55 a.m., before the parade begins at 10.

Included with one's registration is a T-shirt and BBQ and beverages at the UM Track & Field team tailgate. Registration in person is $25. The cost is $28 by registering online. Packet pickup will take place from 4-6 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 4, at Runner's Edge in downtown Missoula, and on race morning.
