Montana hosted North Dakota in an exhibition match on Friday, winning four of the five sets played. The contest was an opportunity for both teams to test out different rotations and lineups, and was the first collegiate match for nine of Motnana's players. The Grizzlies enter the season with six true freshmen and three redshirt freshmen. After the match, Montana held a free youth clinic.
