Griz soccer match canceled, rescheduled

The soccer match between Montana and Eastern Washington, scheduled for Sunday afternoon in Cheney, has been canceled due to snow on the field.

The match has been rescheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 30, at 2 p.m. (MT), also in Cheney, during the week league teams are off between the end of the regular season and the start of the Big Sky Conference Championship in Greeley, Colo.

Montana opened its Big Sky schedule with a 1-0 win at Idaho on Friday night. Eastern Washington played to a 1-1 draw against preseason league favorite Northern Colorado on Friday.
