Football is back at the University of Montana!
To celebrate its 25th anniversary, Grizzly Athletics is opening the gates of Washington-Grizzly Stadium for a night of socially distanced football and fun with a rebroadcast of the legendary 1995 National Championship game on the big screen of the Griz Vision jumbotron.
More than just a movie night, on Saturday, September 19, Griz fans will get the chance to gather under the stars and spread out on the field and in the stands for a full evening of Griz football memories.
Not only will fans re-live the classic win over Marshall, the '95 Championship Night will also include live pregame and halftime entertainment with surprise visits from current Grizzlies and Montana legends. Food, beverages, and the latest in Grizzly merchandise will also be available for purchase.
The evening's festivities conclude with a bang, with a post-game fireworks show.
Gates for the event open at 5:30 p.m. on Sept. 19, with kickoff set for 6:30.
Tickets for the night of family fun cost $19.95 and will be sold in huddles of 4 or 8 people for on-field seats, with limited huddles available in the stands. Details pending health department approval.
Limited VIP packages are available. For more information, call McKell Bennett at 406-243-6472.
Tickets will go on sale next Tuesday, Sept. 8, at griztix.com, 888-MONTANA, or by visiting the Adams Center Ticket Office.
