Indoor track & field season will not be held in 2021

The Big Sky Conference Presidents' Council announced on Friday that the 2021 Big Sky Indoor Track & Field Championships will not be held in February, as originally scheduled, due to local health restrictions and capacity concerns. Without a Championship meet, and without the ability to compete in other standalone meets due to COVID-19 health regulations across the region, Montana will not compete in a 2021 indoor season in any form.
Montana will now turn its focus toward a modified cross country season and the hopes for a full outdoor track & field season, beginning in late March.
